Eminent domain allows the government to take private property for public use. When that occurs, the Constitution requires just compensation and adherence to proper legal procedures. Property owners are entitled to full protection under both the United States and Arkansas Constitutions. My role is to ensure that those protections are enforced and that compensation reflects the true value of what is being taken.
